Our First Weekend in Juneau
After
doing a massive shop at Fred Meyer’s – Alaska’s version of a grocery
story/Walmart – Scott and I explored one of Juneau’s natural wonders. With the
sun shining down on us, a rare occurrence in the rainforest, we drove to
Mendenhall Glacier. We drove to a
glacier. And explored whatever beauty there was to see that was accessible by
foot.
On
Sunday, we used additional footwear and snowshoed the Spaulding Meadows Trail.
