Least favorite thing about being a newspaper reporter: Getting shot down by official sources, like when a housing authority says, “We’re not at liberty to be discussing anything about our clients,” or when the chief of the Wrangell police department says, “Don’t know nothing about it.”

It may be entirely true that the chief of police "don't know nothing about it" afterall, they don't paid to know, they get payed to find out. And they get to use force to do it, how lucky!
Nice list none the less. Today was the first cool day in Santa Barbara, it is begining to feel like Fall may show up.
